This morning my father phoned me and he was worried. A nurse from the hospital had phoned him and told him that my mother will be moved to another hospital today. None of us understand why, so I had to phone to the hospital and ask.
The reason is that my mother needs some rehab. She is not healthy yet to go home and make it there by herself or with help from relatives. I told her that my father is at home all day and he can help. But the nurse told that it would be too heavy for him to take care of her this early - so we will move her so that she can get real help through rehab.
I asked her if the doctors had taken any tests to see what was wrong and she told that they had looked for blood clots and done neurology test. All was fine. But she had heart fibrillation and this made her blood pressure to go down fast and probably she fainted and fell, hitting her head. She has medication for this and is fine - otherwise they would not have moved her to rehab.
I will talk with my father later this evening and tomorrow I will phone the other hospital to see what the future brings.
Have a nice day.
Hugs, Niina
