Proud mother

Yesterday when I picked up the kids from school the youngest one was so happy. She had won a book in a contest they had that day in school on the "Book-Day". She had 10 out of 10 and could choose a book. She picked the Pippi Longstocking and her adventures written in year 1946. The older girl had 8 out of ten and had won some small things that she was happy about.

And the mother - me - was so proud!

Have a nice weekend and take care!
Hugs, Niina

It is amazing how known she is world wide! And who knew that this would happen, because Astrid Lindgren had difficulties to get her book published - several publishers thought that a girl could not be so independent and rough.
